Flowers & Gifts
Mrs. Beulah Mae Thomas, affectionately known as “Mrs. Candy” or “Madea” was born July 17,1931 in Scooba, MS. Beulah departed this life on March 8, 2018 for eternal peace to sit alongside her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was proceeded in death by her only son Mr. James Q. Robinson of Mobile Al, her youngest daughter Veronica Wiggins, and her eldest grandson Anthony A. Simon both of Mobile, Al.
Beulah was a “simple” woman, but loved four things immensely: God, her family, fishing, and good music! Her many sassy “sayings” and delicious soul food dishes will forever linger in the minds and hearts of those who knew her best. Even on her darkest days, she held on to her faith and knew that the Lord would make a way somehow.
Mrs. Thomas leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 50+ years Mr. Jimmie Charles Thomas of Uniontown, Ala and a resident of Mobile, Al. A truly devoted daughter, Mrs. Marie Berry Simon who saw that her final years and days were made comfortable and enjoyed; two grandsons, Mr. Andrew A. Simon and Mr. Angelo (Erika) Simon, both of Mobile, Al; one truly special granddaughter, Ms. Angela Simon Ingram; and great-granddaughter, Amiah Hunter; and host of great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
