Clarence (Baby) Powe, Jr., a resident of Los Angeles, California and a native of Mobile, Alabama, departed from his earthly dwelling place on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in Los Angeles, California to occupy in his heavenly mansion.
Clarence was born to the union of the late Deacon, Clarence and Mary Powe, Sr., on November 16, 1930 in Mobile, Alabama. He honorably served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. He is now having a reunion with his parents and siblings: father, Clarence Powe, Sr.; mother, Mary Powe; wife, Bettye Ann Powe; and son, Clarence Powe, III, all who welcomed him home with open arms.
For he fought a good fight, kept the faith, and now will receive the Crown of Righteousness which the Lord has prepared.
Clarence leaves behind four children, a very devoted daughter, Carolyn (Toni) Powe, and Phyllis Renee Powe of Mobile, AL; two sons, Gregory (Cynthia) Powe of Mobile, AL, and Reginald (Kwanna) Powe of Prichard, AL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and siblings, three brothers, Rudolph Powe of Mobile, AL, James Powe of Los Angeles, CA, and Leo Powe of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Lottie Powe of Los Angeles, CA; a very, very devoted niece, Diane Ponce and family of Los Angeles, CA; a niece, Jean Powe of Los Angeles, CA; nephews, Herbert Powe of Milton, FL, and Roderick Powe of Las Vegas, NV; cousin, Yvonne Nettles of Mobile, AL; and extended family members of Los Angeles, CA, especially Mrs. Tyree Hunter of Los Angeles, CA; and other family members who have precious memories of Clarence Powe, Jr.
