DeVenna Ausrie Patterson, born April 13, 1994 in Mobile, Alabama passed away February 10, 2019. DeVenna Patterson was a 2016 graduate of Bishop State Community College where she earned her Associate’s degree in H.V.A.C. While at Bishop State Community College. She was a member of the National Technical Honors Society and a member of the Alpha Epsilon Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. In 2017, DeVenna completed trucking school, a milestone to live out her dream to travel the world, and started working for U.S. Express in Fairborn, Ohio. DeVenna and her copartner Timothy B. Green Jr. started their own trucking company called ODogg and Wolf.
DeVenna loved kids including her godson, DeAngel Patterson and her nana’s babies Tymyron McClain Jr. and Arlo Lee Washington. She is proceeded in death by her great-grandmother Pauline Hunter and her grandmother Naomi Patterson, grandfather Frank Patterson and baby sister Weneath Patterson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Syvalvala Patterson, father Tommy Body and her ever-loving, caring sister and best friend, Shalanda Patterson, who loved her more than life itself. She also leaves to cherish two loving great uncles: Alonzo (Myrtle) Hunter and Larry (Rochelle) Hunter; four great aunts: Pauline Hunter, Naomi Patterson, Willean Wright, Otha Mae Hunter and Gwenda D. Hunter; two close cousins Xaviare (David) Carnike and Precious DeLaine Patterson and a host of other cousins and friends.
