Johnny Richardson

April 15, 1966 ~ November 27, 2018 (age 52)

Johnny Richardson, Jr., a native of Mobile, Alabama, departed peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the home of his mother. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meniqua Baldwin Richardson, father, Johnny Richardson, Sr., grandmothers, Mary McCampbell and Mamie Richardson, uncle, Dawson (Barbara) Richardson, Sr., and stepson, Lavarian Williams.

Johnny Richardson was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He served as a combat soldier in the Desert Storm War. He worked at Holman Prison in Atmore, Alabama, as well as at International Paper Company, L & N Railroad, and Exxon Mobil. He was a member of Wings Over Jordan Christian Center, where he served in the male chorus.

He is survived by a very loving and devoted mother and stepfather, Juanita  and Charlie Wright of Mobile, Alabama; a devoted brother, Gerald (Miranda) Richardson; a very caring and devoted sister, Kenya Richardson; four children, Johntavius Williams of Huntsville, AL, Ieshia Williams, Ednisha Williams of Mobile, AL, and Marquavius Williams (U. S. Navy); grandchildren, Sophie Williams, Maddison Williams, Saige Dunn, Teagan Williams, Kylan Williams, and N’Kiredge Brooks-Williams; stepdaughter, Demetria Baldwin of Birmingham, AL; stepson, Torey Baldwin of Mobile, AL; mother- and father-in-law, Lemon and Earlean Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Jenae (DeSaavre) Paige and Kia (Marquez) Ratchford, both of Mobile, AL; aunts and uncles, Bernice (William) Carp, Paul (Nancy) Richardson, and Coranna (Arthur) Keeling; nieces, Alexis (Aaron) Franks of Montgomery, AL, Le’Quandria (Darrius) Smith of Duluth, GA, and Zoriah Loper of Mobile, AL; nephew, Brandon Richardson; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends.
