Ms. LaNora Watts was born to Josephine and deceased James Hallum in Coden, AL. She was a resident of Mobile, AL. She was a member of Nazaree Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Murphy High School, Class of 1974. LaNora was a wonderful spirit. She lived her life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Joseph and Lessie Watts; her daughter, LaNina Watts, and her devoted friend, Paul Alexander. She leaves to cherish her memories her mother; two daughters, Sonjme (LaZerrick Williams) Overstreet, and LaNina (Patrick Thompson) Triplett; seven grandchildren, Demarius Franklin, Pvt Kiara Gould, Desteni Watts, Kameron Johnson, Ty’Unna Overstreet, Charles Triplett, Jr., and Kylie Watts-Williams; five sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” Powell, Sandra “Kaye” Coleman, and Claudia ”Chelle” Griffin all of Mobile, AL, Lessie “Val” Hallum of Montgomery, AL, and LaTanya “Toni” Hallum of Midlothian, TX; four brothers: Jerry Watts and Leonard “Neil” Hallum both of Mobile, AL, Samuel (Pamela) Watts of Nashville, TN, and Gary (Ronelle) Watts of Dayton, OH; two devoted friends, Michelle Alexander Jackson and Jannie Angela; and a host of nieces, nephews, and all the other friends and relatives whom lives she has touched.
Ms. Watts will lie in state on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home from 1PM - 6PM. Celebration of Life Services will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11 at Greater Nazaree Baptist Church - 511 N. Franklin Street • Mobile, AL 36603. #TheHeritageWay
