Mrs. Marie Carmichael Lyons, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL departed this earthly life for eternity with Christ at a local hospital on February 22, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Lyons, one son Willie Heidelberg and Parents, John Carmichael and Clara Stallworth Carmichael.
She was an active member of Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, until her health failed and she was a dedicated retired worker after 30 plus years at Thames Pecan Company in the Down the Bay Community.
She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Thomas A. Carmichael, Debarron Heildelberg, Timothy Heidelberg and Aaron Heidelberg, all of Mobile, AL. Five grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. One brother, Ralph Carmichael and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Friday 1PM to 6PM at Heritage Funeral Home. 953 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL and Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10: 00 AM til the 11:00 AM Funeral Hour at Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 1410 R.T. Thomas Drive, Mobile, AL 36605. Rev. James L. Evans, Sr., Pastor.
Internment will be in Barracas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 @2:00 PM, next to her belated Husband.
