Topsey M. Ruffin, a native of Lower Peachtree, Alabama, and a resident of Mobile, Alabama, born November 20, 1951, to the union of Andrew Cheeseboro, Jr., and Minnie Lou Johns, passed from this life Thursday, April 5, 2018. She was a 1970 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High School.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Lou Johns, father, Andrew Cheeseboro, Jr., stepmother, Lillie Mae Cheeseboro, brother, Andrew Cheeseboro, III, sister-in- law Carrie Cheeseboro, and great-nephew Jarod Martin.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three loving children, Sonja (Jermaine) York, Erica Ruffin and Dwayne Ruffin, all of Mobile, Alabama; four sisters, Loretia Cheeseboro and Delphine Martin, both of Mobile, Alabama, Suni (Fred) Clark of Melbourne, Florida, and Patricia Cheeseboro of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren, Jerome Ruffin, Jacoby Ruffin, Jalyn York, Brenton Ruffin, Brandon Watson, Brianna Watson, Bryan Watson and Braxton Watson; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Ruffin, Dallas Ruffin and Bre-Lynn Ruffin; nephews, Kelvin (Stacey) Cheeseboro, Andre’ Cheeseboro and Terrence Cheeseboro; nieces, Donna Martin, Raven Ross, Seva Clark and Travicka (Todd) Keaton; great-nephews, Paris Martin, Cortlin Martin, Ryan Cheeseboro, and Braydon Taylor- Clark; great-nieces, Olivia Cheeseboro, and Raeleigh Ross; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
